◄ by Reven Bronson – Shawnee, KS ► Opening words from the “Death and Dying Through the Eyes of Substance” IAAP International Teleconference call on September 29, 2013. My first experience with Attunement and the dying process was a few years ago when I decided to work long distance with my husband’s grandmother as she began her transition. I would sit with her life pattern everyday for a couple of weeks. Then one evening, I began to feel contractions as her Being was preparing for the transition. They became stronger and stronger, each one like a big wave of energy.
◄ by Andrew Shier – Hancock, NH ► If you wait upon It, It will come. This phrase is obviously a twist on the popular comment from the movie, Field of Dreams; “If you build it, they will come.” Following my experience of teaching Attunement two weekends ago at the first session of a 5-month Attunement Practitioner’s Course, I am impressed with the process of waiting. I have been teaching these courses since 1996. I guess you could say that I know the material inside and out at this point. However, months prior to this current course I had a
◄ by Teri Frailey – Shawnee, KS ► My friend, Chris Kenyon, passed away at 1:55 a.m., Sunday, September 30th. Chris was a Board Member of IAAP in its early years, and an Attunement practitioner with too many interests, skills and degrees to list. I’ll miss our conversations, weekly shared Attunements and all that fills a friendship; yet I know that, for Chris, All Is Well.
◄ by Chris Jorgensen – Gladstone, MO ► I love Attunement – in the office, at home, in long-distance work – in all aspects of my living. For me, Attunement is a conscious way of serving and living the radiation of Love. One of the more enjoyable facets of the Attunement experience is teaching Attunement. Last weekend we started a four-weekend Advanced Attunement Class in Kansas City. Interestingly enough, over the same weekend Andrew Shier began teaching an Attunement Practitioner’s Course in New England. Two separate settings but one powerful line of agreement in the Attunement current. During the weekend’s
◄ by Chris Jorgensen – Gladstone, MO ► Have you ever felt that the weather influenced your behavior? Conversely, have you ever had the thought that your ‘presence’ influences the weather? While catching up on the latest news via the internet the other day I came across a scientific study suggesting that weather influences human beings. It was written by Solomon Hsiang, Marshall Burke, and Edward Miguel–out of England. Their article was entitled: Quantifying the Influence of Climate on Human Conflict. Here is a quote from their interesting work. “A rapidly growing body of research examines whether human conflict can
◄ by Chris Jorgensen – Gladstone, MO ► As Joseph Antell wrote about a few weeks ago, Joe Antell, Sr. passed away on July 5, 2013 following an illness and two weeks in the hospital. He was almost 90 years old. On August 11th in Kansas City we celebrated “a life well lived” with people from the local Attunement Community. And on Saturday, August 24th, Joe’s family and friends joined in a ceremony of thanksgiving as we buried Joe’s ashes at a cemetery in Epping, New Hampshire. I wrote the following words conveying an essence of the beautiful, vibrant man
◄ by Chris Jorgensen – Gladstone, MO ► The political debate is on – what to do about Syria? World opinion is split, some in favor of a punitive military strike and some not. The US Congress is split over what to do. The headlines in the news this morning announced: “Obama confident Congress will vote to strike Syria. President Obama is meeting with key members of Congress today, telling them he wants to send a clear message to Syria.” If you watch the news, as I often do in the morning, to catch up on what is transpiring (energetic
◄ by Karen Knox – Kansas City► I believe service is one of the primary reasons we take birth if not the most important reason. In offering selfless service I receive inner awareness and gratitude. Selfless service is without attachment to the fruits of my efforts, service is worship of divinity, service is without desire for personal gain, an offering without personal motive, an offering for the highest purpose which I cannot fully understand, service is recognition of the divinity in others, service is with the awareness there is nothing, no one who is not God, and service is an
◄ by Joseph Antell, Loveland, CO ► My Dad, Joe Antell Senior, crossed over peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of Friday, July 5, 2013. He lived a few weeks shy of 90 years, and did he live! Four months ago, as a family, we agreed that assisted living would provide the best care for him. So Joe went with the flow, settled in and was happy making a home where he was, grateful for all that was being provided. This facility was like a country club with loving, friendly people around him. Dad enjoyed community so he
◄ by Karen Knox and MaryAnne O’Mara ► Being immersed in Attunement Intensive energy for three days generated an experience of remembrance… remembering the true essence of each individual and remembering my highest nature. Often we worked in teams of three, four, or five, and I found whether I was receiving Attunement or sharing it, I felt I was the one being worked on and changed on a deep level. Inwardly, negativities dissolved, perspectives expanded and shifted. The sense of separation between me and others decreased, and I saw others merely as different aspects of myself which I accepted and
