Thyroid disorders are often misdiagnosed as other conditions. When the thyroid doesn’t create and release enough hormones into the blood stream the metabolism slows down causing a variety of symptoms such as tiredness, weight gain, intolerance to cold, anxiety, depression and high cholesterol.
