What an impressive hour of consideration and Attunement on the uses of sound and music in the Attunement process. Thank you Chris, Diana, Jenna, and PenDell.
My experience of late on the use of sound focuses during that time at the completion of an Attunement session. It is here when I and the client have some moments to talk. The use of sound in the formation of words that are shared between us is most magical. It is indeed a moment of allowing Heaven and Earth to be made one. The accuracy of awareness and perception needed to speak words that clothe the field of pneumaplasm that has been shared, no more, no less, is important. For me, this is the music aspect of the creative cycle. The invisible sharing of Attunement is the sound aspect. It could be said that sound precedes music. If I am wise and listening to the sound during the Attunement, overtones can begin to be heard. At this level of resonance, there is a dwelling place for an array of higher information and insight. It is the place of the Word.
Making this Word flesh in the moments of our conversation is wonderful and intimate. If I truly have no concern for results, then the words originate and flow from above, and they fit. There is no pushing to convince, influence, or impress; just love and an honoring of those who have come to share this sacred Art.
I have really taken to the idea of sound as a part of my Attunement practice. It just really resonated, no pun intended. I decided to take a mantra from a Marianne Williamson book, “Make me a channel of Divine Creativity, use me as an instrument of Higher Will” and set it to a tune. I then chant this from time to time – a favorite time is on my way to work (while paying attention to traffic, of course). I don’t have far to go – 7 – 10 minutes depending upon the lights – but this mantra sets a loving tone to my day. I find that I enter work more relaxed, more loving. I also find that the tune runs through my consciousness several times during the day, calling me back to a radiant awareness of Attunement and Love. I see this as a very positive step in maintaining the Flow and sending Love into the world. Thank you so much for that hour – it is with me still, making a difference in my world.
