A note of thanksgiving and appreciation for all those who participated, in whatever way, in the recent IAAP teleconference on Sunday 11/23/14 around the theme of “Waiting and Allowing.” It was a very beautiful time together sharing by phone and the currents continue to echo in our lives. As part of the process I shared a poem I had written and was requested to share it in writing for further contemplation. So here it is in the spirit of blessing and joy.
In this womb of darkness waiting is nigh
Silent snow deafens all that yearns
and so hides the dried grasses and dead leaves
of cycles ended, complete
Secrecy holds deep the future child
Until warmth rushes to unfold the blossoms
who remember seeds planted of passion and hope
pulsing sweet nectar to brush the breezes of spring
quickening the pregnant fullness
of life lived at fever pitch
Wait not! For loss of this one never returns in kind
Open the galaxies’ breath of what is to be
drawing elements of stars and ethers
to form and collide and gather and lock
solar winds thrust and urge
rhythm and shape of conception accomplished
To wait is not to sleep and dream
nor fear what seems unknown
but submits to the Smith’s heat and hammer
who wrenches free blade prepared and wisdom set
the more invested the more to wield
Bliss rests with the waiting hunger
when cradled in Thy Way and Thy Vow
then easily welcomes the sound of Perfection being forged

Beatiful!
